I am not going to the show on Sunday after all. Instead, I am back at home dealing with my renter situation. You would think that by the age of 40 someone would have figured out how to pay (incredibly cheap) rent. You know, you put a check in an envelope and mail it at the beginning of the month.
ANYWAY, just wanted to thank everyone for all of their well wishes and support. It looks like we might be going to a *-real-* recognized 3-Day in June at Aspen Farms. I was really hoping for a test run this weekend but it wasn't meant to be.

Awwww...Hang in there. I am a mom of three and my hubby is in the military. I know how disappointing it can be when you are unable to make it to an event. Good Luck in June!!
UGH! Not only will you miss the show, you have to deal with that fun on top of it! Double BAH! Thanks for the kind words on my latest post, your comment brought thoughtful tears, and was the best advice I have gotten. Have you ever noticed how when you go through things like this, people are all compelled to tell you about their pet and experiences? I know it is a commiseration of sorts, and well meant, but, I just liked what you had to say. Wasn't it you who said they aren't good at these kinds of things? I beg to differ....
Sorry about the diappointment of not being able to show. That sucks and it's worse it's caused by some else's lack of consideration.
What was amazing was how the story and excuses kept changing to suit his needs. I think he may have actually talked himself into believing what he said, kind of a scary situation. The last straw was when he told my mom he had no problem getting in her face and to bring it on. She was spraying the dandelions in the yard. Anyhow everything is fine, although I'm a bit bitter at having to pay his $80 electric bill. I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank. He certainly pulled one over on me, that's what I get for trusting someone and assuming they have integrity.
